Course, school and instructor approvals and the "CE Marketplace"
The state of Michigan no longer approves schools, instructors or courses. LARA has however partnered with the Michigan Realtors® to provide the CE Marketplace, a completely voluntary tool for licensees to find and record their continuing education.

Although Michigan no longer requires approvals, they still require course be designed to a 50 minute credit hour.

Our Course Format
Our online continuing education process emphasizes ease of use and speed by delivering your courses through your web browser. Following purchase of your courses, a username and password will be emailed to you giving you access to your courses.

Technical Requirements
Chrome is the recommended browser but as long as you're using the updated version of your prefered browser, you you shouldn't have any problems.

    Passing Scores
Although assessments are used within the courses as part of the learning process, Michigan does not require a specific passing score.

    License Renewal Dates
All licensees renew their license every three years on a set date...October 31st, 2018 being the next.

    Continuing Education Requirements
All Michigan licensees are required to complete 18 hours of continuing education to renew their license every three years (6 mandatory and 12 elective). The mandatory courses include 2 hours of law that must be taken each year of the 3 year cycle. You can review additional details on our CE Requirement page.

    Completion Certificates
Certificates are emailed to students following course completion. Students are required to maintain copies of proof of their education for 4 years.

    Reporting Responsibilities
The licensee is completely responsible for reporting CE credits earned. The provider is required to maintain records but does not report completions for the student.

    100% Money Back Guarantee
Whether it's with our product, website or service, we want you to have a great experience. If at any point we don't meet your expectations, we will be happy to refund you whatever percentage of the enrollment fee you feel appropriate.
